Keypad Locked Out (User Code Tamper)This happens when the wrong code has been input more than 5 times. At this point, even a valid code would not work and you must wait for the lockout-- Do not touch the keypad for 5 full minutes! TO AVOID KP LOCKOUT IN THE FIRST PLACE: In the future, if your code does not work the 1st time, then press pound # and try again. If you miss key, press pound # and start over. If it still does not work then the code may not be valid. Do NOT keep trying over and over or you will get locked out of the keypad. Just press pound before your next attempt to erase any stray touches and allow you to start over. The above applies to openers and closers alike... And just one more thing for closers only: make sure you have a ready light! The alarm will not arm unless the green check mark ✅ is lit, (but you can still get a user code tamper and keypad lockout after repeated attempts!)
